Position Summary
Responsible for sterilizing and processing medical supplies, instruments, and equipment according to quality and safety standards. Works as a backup for Central Stores. Must understand Perioperative Services and make sound decisions when needed.

Experience and Education

• High school diploma or GED.
• CST, IAHCSMM or NICHSPOP certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
• One (1) year of SPD, surgery or other related experience preferred.
